About the playwright: Penny Bloodhart is a retired geologist who lives in Mt. Shasta City with her husband and a Golden Retriever. A charming bench in front of a bookstore was one of her favorite morning coffee spots, and gave her the idea for this play. For over ten years, she has acted and written for the Siskiyou Senior Players. She has also performed with the New Frontier Theater Company.
