5 sketches, each 2 minutes long
Joggin’ Along is a series of five comedy sketches involving two single, older women. Dressed in exercise gear, they jog to center stage, where they stop long enough to talk about what’s going on in their lives. Nothing is sacred as they discuss exercise, weight problems, boyfriends, other women, and much more. These often outlandish skits produce enthusiastic and prolonged laughter from audiences, and have an upbeat message that seniors can relate to and enjoy. In fact, audiences often applaud as soon as they see the joggers enter. Use the sketches in variety shows as transitions between pieces for a great result.
“What a delightful time! Your opening jogging number is always great -it never fails to bring down the house.” — Irene Duval
