Readers Theatre is a popular format for many Senior Theatre companies. It’s easy, requires no memorization, and allows for a shorter rehearsal period. Theatrically speaking, actors develop and portray characterization, emotion, conflict, and everything that’s needed to create a moving performance. There are several ways of doing Readers Theatre so it can be adapted to the unique abilities of your cast.
You’ll find that our shows work well as Readers Theatre because they don’t depend on scenery, action, or movement to be successful.
