5 minute comedy
1 woman
A fun monologue about female vanity, the aging face and how we see ourselves. A humorous discussion of the symptoms of “Mirroritis” as well as a number of practical “cures” including: shocking therapies promoted by the Gracefully Aging Association such as receiving your first AARP card, being told you’ve become a grandmother, and being asked if you’d like the senior discount.
From the playwright:
I looked into a magnifying mirror and my pores looked like moon craters and my wrinkles looked like the Grand Canyon. I said to myself “Who Is this woman?” The shocking answer of course is me! Sometimes it is just so hard to look into a mirror.
