Winnie and Fran are putting their final touches on items in their church’s annual rummage sale when their chat turns to the handsome Reverend Richie. Once it becomes obvious that they share more than a passing admiration of their spiritual leader, Winnie makes a brutally honest observation telling Fran, “Your eyebrows meet across your nose.” Fran takes the beauty advice in stride, because she has several shocking statements of her own.
The playwright shares, “I have an interest in auctions, rummage sales, and the salvaging of discarded treasures. Add to this my interest in competition and When Eyebrows Meet took shape.”
