Senior Theatre is a unique art form with special requirements–much more than plays being set in a retirement community! This guide will help writers understand how Senior Theatre companies operate and their needs. Then, learn how to shape dialogue, characters, and plots that are fun, yet challenging for seasoned performers. Playwrights will be able to craft works that older actors love to perform and audiences love to watch.
“Thank you so much for this document, which I keep re-reading. The wealth of information is presented so clearly and positively that it will make me a better playwright. Informative and enlightening, it’s a marvelous guide for those of us who write for Senior Theatre.” Senior Theatre Playwright
