20 minutes
2 men, 2 women
Josie’s moment of solitude on the seaside cliff is interrupted by Logan, and his awkward attempt to strike up a conversation. After she can’t resist singing along to Danny Boy, Logan assumes she’s on the same page (or at least the same dating app, “Timber.”) Unfortunately for him, his advances are unwanted but the two quickly figure out they’ve been tricked by some well-meaning matchmakers. Their hilarious response gives back much more than they are given. And maybe their friends do okay after all.
From the playwright
“With this script, I wanted to look at the trials and tribulations of dating later in life. And even though the characters should know better, they can still fall prey to well-meaning friends trying to play matchmaker.”
