2 men, 2 women
Logan has detailed instructions from his brother: hike up to the top of a cliff, strike up a conversation with the woman who is sitting there, and then start singing Danny Boy. If she chimes in, that’s a clear signal she’s interested. Problem is, Josie is only there to have some time alone and maybe to read her book. Worse yet, she is oblivious to this hidden code. So when she can’t resist singing along, and Logan makes his move, things get more than a little tense. Rather than pushing him off the cliff right then and there, the two piece together what happened and come up with a plan of their own. The culprits get quite a kick in the pants!
From the playwright:
“With this script, I wanted to look at the trials and tribulations of dating later in life. And even though the characters should know better, they can still fall prey to well-meaning friends trying to play matchmaker.”
From a Senior Theatre director:
“We loved it! With rapid dialogue and a fun plot, one of the best we’ve done!”
