Brandon Daughtry Slocum and JP Schuffman
40 minute radio comedy
for 12-16 actors
A radio station in a small southern town, W.O.R.K., is signing off the air after 50 years. The station owners, a couple in their 70’s, have invited back their old favorite acts for one last nostalgic show. Actors can read their lines, no memorization needed. Performed at many a Senior Theatre to rave reviews. Easy to insert additional acts. This is comedy at its best!
The Last Day at W.O.R.K. was written for and performed by a Senior Theatre company. The four-minute version of the Hamlet scene was enthusiastically received at the Senior Theatre USA Performance Festival in Baltimore. This piece is comedy at its best!
