90 minute comedy
2 men, 2 women, 2 either
Sunny, a perpetual hippie, and her sister, Joni, own ‘Sweet Revenge,’ a quaint bakery known for its cream puffs. Joni is currently in a relationship with an overly helpful, sometimes critical, and unfortunate speller, Brian. His big idea for the bakery to increase sales is for them to enter the Treats and Tweets reality show’s “Sweetest Sweethearts” contest. To help them succeed, he’s convinced the sisters to renovate the bakery and has appointed himself project manager with a detailed plan to get everything done in time before the show.
The wild ride starts when they’re in the middle of renovations and Charlie, the assistant to the famous Maurice Bailey, host of the show, arrives a week earlier than expected. The situation spirals out of control with a series of humorously awkward scenes that finally comes to a “pie in the face” ending.
It’s a fast-paced, farce with charming characters.
