As Minnie and Estelle wait nervously in a diner to meet two brothers they found in a chatroom, they concoct a hilarious system of secret signals to escape if things go wrong—bad teeth, bald heads, or awkward conversation. But when the men turn out to be unexpectedly attractive, the women scramble to adjust their plan.
In the end, the play is a charming and hilarious exploration of aging, friendship, and the awkward dance of late-life dating, proving that romance, and comedy, don’t fade with age.
