Hugo Uyttenhove
90 minute comedy
3 men, 6 women
A fast-paced whodunit set in a North Carolina retirement community, where the discovery of a poisoned neighbor drags everyone: estranged wives, secret girlfriends, bitter ex-colleagues, and an overeager book club of amateur sleuths—under suspicion. With sharp dialogue, well-developed characters, and twists that keep the audience guessing until the final reveal, this four-act play delivers equal parts intrigue, humor, and surprise. A classic mystery with a modern, mischievous bite; served, of course, with a slice of Mississippi Mud Cake.
Hugo Uyttenhove has written novels in the Adventure Mystery and Murder Mystery genres since 2010. Almost all of his ten books have been adapted into movie scripts. The Murder Mystery books are all part of one series of books set in a retirement community. He has always been a storyteller and a speaker, who writes from experience in locations worldwide that help set the story.
