Mernie Mayhem is a mischievous millionaire. With only one possible heir whom she’s never met, she concocts a plan to determine which of her friends might be worthy of inheriting her wealth. She unexpectedly winds up the victim after her fake demise backfires through crazy shenanigans plotted by a network of unpredictable retirees.

About the Playwright:
Carol Nimmons is retired from a career in newspapers, magazines and as an editor at a major university. She is a published author of articles and educational materials as well as a rhyming book on child safety, Flurp Careful, and a cartoon-illustrated book on etiquette, Social Graces Gone Astray. Since retirement, she has been a private investigator, flipped houses and raised horses and cows on her farm. She is an active volunteer in her community, has taken up writing plays, and the mother of two sons and 13 grandchildren. Mernie’s Little Hoax is her first play to be published while two of her other plays have been staged.
