It’s a vivid story of glamour, romance, drama, and how to make your way through life when it gets a bit difficult. As she displays her finery, Miss Ida recounts her youth and adventurous life as a glamour girl in the boom-town Miami of the 30’s and 40’s. About the playwright: Joseph Alan Johnson has been a professional actor and writer for over 50 years, and has written and directed over a dozen crowd-pleasing plays. He is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC. Mr. Johnson has appeared on stage, TV, in commercials,and over twenty films in Hollywood and Europe, including the cult hits The Slumber Party Massacre and Sodom’s Ghosts.
