About the Play
At one time, the “Summer Set” gang ruled the world of jewel thievery. Now older, the women have put their days of adventure and crime to rest. When their leader, Lucky, discovers that the Autumn Diamond, the one that always got away, is going to be on display during the Founder’s Day Festival, she is compelled to take on last stab at stealing it. But once they decide to make a plan to snatch the diamond, will they succeed in their daring quest? Or will their past catch up with them?
A fun script with a touch of romance that celebrates friendship, resilience, and the timeless thrill of the chase.

From the Playwright:
As a producer of festival theatre for over a decade, I wanted to write about women who are strong and intelligent. In addition, I wanted to write a play about older people who are exploring romance, having fun, and living full lives.
About Paul Barile:
I performed in my first play at 4 years-old. My role was one of Robin Hood’s “Married Men,” at least that’s how my mother said I announced it at dinner one evening! Since then, I worked in every aspect of theatre from playwright to director to props manager and, of course, actor. I still perform from time to time – but I find my greatest reward comes from writing for the stage. I enjoy watching actors breathe life into the words I have created on the page.
