Agnes answers one phone call and suddenly everyone in her life needs her immediately. As calls stack up, hold buttons click on and off, a lost cat sparks panic, a sibling spirals, and a long-ago acquaintance resurfaces from Venice at exactly the wrong moment. Each conversation inches forward while everything else freezes, creating a hilarious tangle of half-heard crises and missed revelations. By the time Agnes finally decides which call matters most, she’s learned that timing, like technology, has a sense of humor all its own.
