What is it about? When residents of the Twin Hills Retirement Community think that gold has been discovered on their property, all hell breaks out. The conflict divides those who live on the North Hill from those who live on the South Hill. Greed and power threaten the peaceful lifestyle that makes the location so popular. The seniors’ spirit and love of life rises above the conflict. What emerges is a new, rambunctious full-length musical. Twelve characters take you through the adventure using fourteen songs…some are romantic and wistful, others are humorous and boisterous.
About the playwright: The musical is skillfully crafted by Alvin H. ‘Skip’ Reiss, a well-known arts writer, educator, consultant, and lecturer. His humor has appeared in Esquire, The New York Times, Family Health, Playbill, and Diversion. He has written other musicals including Tall Paul, A Tall Tale: The Legend of Paul Bunyan.
