About the play: Rio, a lone cowboy, likes his spaghetti plain. When he wanders into a small western town, he stops off at Ms. Lola’s Saloon, world famous for its spaghetti & meatballs. He is approached by the forever flirtatious saloon gal, Frenchy, but soon falls in love with the local sweetheart, Mariah. This causes a riff with Mariah’s fiancée, Zeke, and her powerful rancher and big sister, Becky, who demand that spaghetti be eaten with meatballs. This play asks you to choose sides, “Are you a Plainer or a Meatballer?”
