About the play:Laurel tells her best friend she has been unfaithful, expecting sympathy and discretion. When her husband joins the conversation, her friend works frantically to explain what Laurel means, while everyone else hears something entirely different. Each attempt at clarification only makes matters worse, especially once Laurel introduces a plan involving scissors. What eventually comes to light is not an affair, but a much more serious breach involving a longtime hairdresser and a very bad haircut.
