When Dad dies, his kids discover a string of messages on the answering machine from a mystery woman. Her steamy mention of  “snickerdoodles” has the siblings blushing, but as the tone of the messages turns from sultry to anxious, the two follow the crumbs and a truth they never saw coming.

The playwright writes, “The surprise ending mirrors one I’ve encountered in my own life. These kinds of revelations change your perspectives of people while making you question your assumptions.”

About the playwright: David is a retired special educator who dedicated his career to services for children and youth with disabilities. In his ‘third act,’ he enjoys writing screenplays and stage plays that explore the lives and adventures of older people like himself.
