Feisty Lucille is applying for a job at Jugs Restaurant, ready to compete with younger women. But Lucille, in her 60’s, isn’t your typical applicant. She’s determined to convince a reluctant manager, Mark, to give her an interview. This super strong sassy character is one you’ll want to play.
About the playwright: Shelli Pentimall Bookler holds an M.F.A. in Playwriting from Temple University, and an M.A. in Theatre Arts from Eastern Michigan University. She was the New American Voices Playwriting Series finalist, Midwest Dramatist Center’s Playwriting Conference finalist, and American Association of Community Theatre semi-finalist. Her mission is to give voice to unique characters and create conversations for audiences.
