    Take your class online!

This class is for teachers, directors, and others who want to teach Senior Theatre classes and find themselves having to do it online! If you can’t get together in person, learn how to move the sessions to a virtual platform–it’s not as difficult as it sounds! By going online, you will be able to create a theatre experience or maintain your group’s energy, prepare for future performances, and maybe even present streaming shows. Most importantly, it will help you keep hearts, minds, and bodies engaged in the work we all love. The session is taught by Bonnie L. Vorenberg who has many years teaching theatre to older actors, including her most recent online educational offerings.

For amateur to advanced persons, this webinar will help you with the basics and inspire you to do more. You will learn how to:

    • Set up an online class
    • Adapt your activities to online settings
    • Lead improv and creative drama using teacher tools
    • Choose and then work with scripts for successful learning
    • Navigate the policies that govern online theatre

We discuss class format, lesson plans, and plays that work well for streamed classes and hear from Senior Theatre directors who have moved their classes online.

How: After your purchase, we will send you the link to the Zoom recording.

    Cost: $20

If you want to read the complete script, order a hard copy or e-script for perusal.

If you want to perform or rehearse, order cast copies. Select either e-cast copies, which you will be able to download, or hard cast copies. Hard cast copies are printed in black and white on 3-hole punched paper so it’s easy to put them into notebooks.

Play collections are copyright protected and can’t be copied. When you decide which plays you want to use, contact us for e-scripts which you can copy.

When you have performance dates, add royalty to your shopping cart, along with the number of performances. Rates are per performance and apply whether you charge admission or not. They are due two weeks prior to the show.

Check out by going to “View Cart” and then clicking on the Proceed to Checkout button. You can pay with a credit card or PayPal. If you prefer, you may also use the Order Form in Word, the Order Form as a PDF, or just call us.

We appreciate your order. Thanks for helping older performers fulfill their theatrical dreams!
