10 minute comedy
1 man, 4 woman
Set at a train station, Girlfriends follows four older women wrapping up a long-awaited reunion, where easy conversation quickly turns into sharp honesty. As they joke and reminisce, their easy conversation gives way to sharper honesty—especially around money, independence, and long-buried jealousy. One friend’s outrageous plan to solve her financial problems sparks both laughter and outrage, pushing the group to the brink. Yet beneath the barbs and bruised egos is a bond that refuses to break, even when tested. In the end, the play reminds us that while men, money, and plans may come and go, true friendships are the ones that endure.
