10 minute drama
1 man, 1 woman
Imagine a scene where a woman rakes photographs into a pile, like leaves scattered by a storm. A man, carrying the weight of past mistakes, approaches, seeking forgiveness for a betrayal that has deeply scarred their relationship. As she rakes, he picks up the photographs, each one sparking memories and images from their shared past, whether real or imagined.
He pleads with her to let him take the rake, to help clean up the mess they’ve made together, but she resists, holding onto the rake as if it were the last thread of control she has. Their exchange is poetic, a dance of words and emotions, as they navigate the pain of betrayal and the longing for forgiveness. This poignant dialogue tests the strength of their love, questioning whether it can withstand the wounds inflicted upon it.
This beautifully crafted piece offers a profound exploration of love, loss, and redemption, making it a truly rewarding experience for seasoned actors to bring to life.
