30 minute comedy
2 men, 2 women
About the play:
Ilene and Ro become fixated on learning more about Max, the quiet man who just moved in next door. Their imaginations run wild as they speculate that he might be a spy, a Mafia hitman, or even a murderer after overhearing vague comments and observing his secretive habits. Determined to uncover the truth, they engage in humorous sleuthing and misinterpret innocent clues, convinced they are on the trail of something sinister. The tension builds until they confront Max and his friend Pete, only to discover that the reality is far more ordinary than their dramatic theories. Filled with witty dialogue and comic misunderstandings, the play offers a lighthearted look at gossip, curiosity, and the trouble caused by jumping to conclusions.
