Max has a plan. All he needs is his favorite park bench and his specially-made sandwich. The only problem is Randall. Not only is Randall sitting in his spot, refusing to budge, the interloper has actually eaten the sandwich. And he’s still alive? There was enough poison in it to have killed a horse! It turns out Randall is the Angel of Death — and Randall also has a plan: to keep Max alive. Will Max give Randall a chance to change his mind? Will Randall succeed and get a promotion?
The play leaves the characters and the audience hopeful about the resiliency of humans as we get older and reminded about the power of love.
