Bob Wilkins is a self-taught playwright. In 1983, he began producing and directing an annual variety show at a small rural school. Later, this role included an annual dinner theatre production. The lack of plays with a small cast available for high school students spurred him into the writing process. His earliest plays are based on his experience with students. Now that he is retired, most of his plays are centered on life as a senior citizen. We are lucky to have Bob as one of our most popular playwrights!
