When they were in their twenties, Rose and Oscar had an unconsummated romance. Now, 60 years later, Rose arranges to meet Oscar, hoping to accomplish what she was too scared to do before. While she didn’t expect him to be funnier, fitter, or more considerate than when they were younger, she really didn’t expect that fulfilling her fantasy would turn out the way it does.
