Description
15 minute comedy
4 women, 1 either
These four ladies are oblivious to the decorum that encompasses the rules and behaviors that ensure a respectful and enjoyable golf tournament. They’ve lied and cheated for 17 holes, with insults and bent clubs flying further than the golf balls. The entire fiasco has been narrated by the TV personality Hushed Tones. Now at the final hole of what has proven to be an epic battle for the Creative Cup at Sunset Haven Country Club, the Shankaholics (known more for their drinking prowess than golfing ability) are waiting (and waiting!) for team Whack Job to tee off. This round of golf has surpassed all sorts of course records, but for none for the right reasons. Perhaps they are better suited to another sport?

From the Playwright:
I have always found retirement communities full of ideas for stage plays, and I have always found the game of golf to be funny. I combined the two in a short play that I think captures life in a retirement community and on the golf course.
