LuAnn, with the lifelong dream of becoming a fairy godmother, enlists in Bibbidi Bobbidi Boot Camp, where fairies gain the skills and training they need to be successful magical helpers. But LuAnn’s not a fairy. And while a letter of recommendation prevents Sarge from kicking her out of training immediately, it’s not enough. LuAnn must pass a test in order to stay.
Armed with a pair of knitting needles, will she have what it takes to prove her abilities?
From the playwright:
I’ve always enjoyed stories with a fantasy element to them, especially when they can be done live on stage. We tend to think of ourselves as the hero or princess in the fairy tale, but what about the hard-working fairy godmothers that make it all happen? Surely they must undergo hilariously rigorous training to earn their wings.
Clinton Festa began his career as a writer and cartoonist for his campus humor magazine. Since then, his plays have been produced around the U.S., Canada, and United Kingdom. He has written fantasy podcasts and a fantasy novel.
