Lawyer, Lawyer is a delightfully ridiculous trial in which a defendant loudly admits to murdering her husband, a prosecutor appears to have wandered in from a public works job application, and a defense attorney somehow makes the case even worse. Presiding over the chaos is Judge Judy Moody, who desperately tries to maintain order while witnesses, lawyers, and the accused compete to see who can misunderstand the most questions.
Packed with bad legal arguments, terrible courtroom logic, peanut butter evidence, audience participation as the jury, and a twist involving a very unfortunate mix-up between a neighbor’s wife and a neighbor’s Wi-Fi, this comedy proves that justice may be blind, but in this courtroom, it’s probably also confused.
