Take your class online!

This recorded online class is for teachers, directors, and others who want to teach Senior Theatre classes and find themselves having to do it online! If you can’t get together in person, learn how to move the sessions to a virtual platform–it’s not as difficult as it sounds! By going online, you will be able to create a theatre experience or maintain your group’s energy, prepare for future performances, and maybe even present streaming shows. Most importantly, it will help you keep hearts, minds, and bodies engaged in the work we all love. The recorded Zoom session is taught by Bonnie L. Vorenberg who has many years teaching theatre to older actors, including her most recent online educational offerings.

For amateur to advanced persons, this webinar will help you with the basics and inspire you to do more. You will learn how to:

  • Set up an online class
  • Adapt your activities to online settings

  • Lead improv and creative drama using teacher tools
  • Choose and then work with scripts for successful learning
  • Navigate the policies that govern online theatre

We discuss class format, lesson plans, and plays that work well for streamed classes and hear from Senior Theatre directors who have moved their classes online.

How: After your purchase, we will send you the link to the Zoom recording.

Cost: $20
