The holiday party planning committee is having a rough time deciding which movie to show. It doesn’t help that their holiday spirit has been dampened by loneliness and rejection, not to mention the Christmas elf disaster, the scandalous Santa Claus ornament, and the family holiday restraining order. To top it all off, Regina’s lost her diamond earring. Will they cancel the party permanently? Or can a hero arise from the dumpster to restore the true spirit of the holidays?
From the playwright:
For most people, the holiday season is a time for celebration and joy. But for many seniors, the holiday season has lost its luster and is a time to be endured rather than enjoyed. David wanted to write a play about older women who have lost the spirit of the season, and how that spirit can be rekindled through acts of generosity and understanding by adding a bit of humor to the mix.
