A play for Thanksgiving or for the holidays!
Nora opens her home to strangers who might otherwise spend the day alone. All they need to do to earn a seat at the table is tear off a number and show up at one o’clock. What arrives instead is a parade of larger‑than‑life personalities: a grouch who dislikes people, a glutton who threatens the entire spread, a flirt with eyes only for Nora’s husband, and a kleptomaniac who lifts anything not nailed down. Just when two seemingly normal procrastinating sisters arrive—hoping to enjoy turkey on the Big Day for the first time ever—Nora discovers the turkey is missing.
What Senior Theatre groups say:
- “Merry Christmas / Happy Thanksgiving” was the final show in our holiday production and it brought down the house. What great characters! —H. Reynolds
- This play was a joy from start to finish. The characters were instantly recognizable, the humor landed with every audience, and our cast loved how each role had its own moment to shine. — Community Senior Theatre Director
