15 minute comedy
1 woman, 1 man
When Jesse and Sara meet, right from the start the dialogue is fast, witty and draws you in…and more than a little snarky. Their humor may be a little surprising, but they are utterly believable characters, with laugh-out-loud lines. Is this really how to put your best foot forward when meeting someone for the first time? And then. The humor stops. The facades fall away. They have both pulled “a good one” on each other, but now it’s time to get real. Maybe it really is love at first snark?
What they say about Love at First Snark
- Voted an Audience Favorite for a reason! It’s a rare bird that introduces you to characters in a deliberately absurd world before it reverses on a dime and grounds itself (and you) in the painfully real world that its characters truly inhabit. This first date will earn a second and a third. A fabulous play! M. Towers
- The dialogue is witty, fast and draws you in. C. Devine
- As a senior myself, I enjoyed this very funny play with its witty dialogue and believable characters. E. Sharp
