At its heart, “Louie and Louise” is about a wife who has spent decades controlling every detail of her meek husband’s life: what he does, when he does it, and how.
When Louie starts wandering the house, rifling through papers and muttering “That’s not it,” his wife Louise complains to her friend, convinced he’s finally lost his mind. But the odd search has a purpose, and by the end, it becomes clear Louie’s been quietly planning a way to turn the tables—and escape her grip entirely.
Packed with witty banter, escalating absurdity, and a twist ending, it’s a battle of wills where the underdog just might win.
