When Martha accidentally throws crucial bridge supplies into a dumpster, she calls on her friends Doris and Agnes for help. Their straightforward recovery mission quickly becomes far more complicated as each solution creates a brand-new problem. With tempers rising and dignity hanging by a thread, the trio must work together to rescue both the missing bag and an unexpected cast of victims.
Dumpster Divers is a crowd-pleasing comedy that celebrates friendship, resourcefulness, and the fact that growing older doesn’t mean life stops handing out ridiculous adventures
About the playwright: Barbara started writing down actual funny events that occurred while playing bridge at a senior center. Several activity directors encouraged her to write short plays that might be performed by residents. She did. Dumpster Divers is one of those plays.
