What is it about? Travel back to a 47th high school reunion in a small town and let the three cheerleaders, who act as a chorus, guide their classmates and you through the sometimes melancholy, sometimes joyous gathering. You’ll find the usual old friends who reminisce, brag a bit, flirt, agree on the state of the world (We’re Screwed), and long for the old days (Back in the Dreamtime). When one of the hipper classmates slips everyone a marijuana brownie, the party intensifies with declarations of love (You Could Be My Last Chance to Have a Broken Heart) and admissions of regret (All the Ways We Fail). From doo-wop to country, hip hop to anthem, with more music than dialogue, this musical will charm, cheer, and entice your heart. Easy show, fun to perform!
