Linda L. Rand

Linda’s had several productions/staged readings of her many works. Awards received for her original plays include Broken Limbs and Nothing But A Real Christmas. Just Another Sappy Slap Happy Face was produced off, off Broadway. Her one act The Fat Lady Ain’t Hummin’ was given honorable mention in The Ellen Idelson Competition at Theatre West in Hollywood and produced in the West Fest Series. She also had two productions of her short plays In The Shade of The Old Oak and You’re Never Too Old For Polka Dots presented in WestFest. She’s a member of SAG/AFTRA/AEA, ALAP (Association of LA Playwrights ) LAFPI (LA Female Playwrights Initiative) The Dramatists Guild of America and a founding member of At Rise: Playwrights.

As an actress, she writes for the voice and talents of the over-forty crowd. Her many plays allow the actors who portray the roles to prove just that!
