A native New Yorker, Barbara Trainin Blank grew up on a steady diet of theatre, opera, ballet, museums, and classic films, which fueled her career in writing about the arts. Now based in Maryland, she is a journalist, book author, grant writer, and aspiring playwright who contributes arts features regularly to several print and online publications.
