1 man, 2 women
25 minute comedy
Rock On! is a one-act play about two long lost friends who meet up by chance fifty years after having lost touch. As they lament their boring lives and missed opportunities, they go on a journey to make up for lost time. Val is hellbent on going to as many rock concerts as she can find and meeting a rock star while Leona goes along for the ride. Once fulfilling their dream, they seek out other adventures, each with increasing risk and excitement.
About the play:
June’s inspiration for Rock On! was her own personal looking back at life and reflecting on missed opportunities, on what might have been. Rather than get lost in a sea of regret, she wanted to consider for herself and share with others the idea that it is never too late. There is always room at any stage to take risks and move forward in life.
