Laurie desperately wants to do something that she thinks her husband hates. So she visits her ex-husband for advice for help in figuring it out. There are suggestions, letters, and “nearly naked,” until who knows what happens. This show just gets more preposterous with every twist and turn!
About the playwright: Penny Petersen has loved theatre since her grandmother took her, at age 6, to see the Rockettes and later the opera. That did it–an addiction for life. She’s been directing plays and teaching theatre for 52 years. For 25 of those, she managed a theatre program at a community college while doing freelance directing and writing plays. She also wrote a musical take-off on The Fantasticks. Two middle-aged daughters try to fix up their parents and made a mess of it. In addition, she’s written two books, and has a dance band with her husband, Ron.
