Bonnie's Column: A fresh start
The pleasure of starting another year is that it gives us a chance
to take a fresh look at who we are, what we are doing, and ways we
want to move ahead. It's almost magical how we as a culture take a
break over holiday season as if it's a long breath. Then, we emerge
with new energy. We are fueled to examine and map our direction.
So, take some time to:
- Renew
- Refresh
- Recharge
- Restart
- Rework
- Reactivate
Our goal is to help with your Senior Theatre needs
so that older adults can find fulfillment in the theatre. Here's
wishing you 2020 vision in the New Year!
Best in theatre,

Our shows are being performed
The performance of Lawyer, Lawyer in
Kentucky was a huge success, just like the popular Doctor,
Doctor.
The director said,
"We loved “Lawyer, Lawyer!” It’s one of the best
shows we ever performed. Over 160 people attended on New Year’s Eve
and they all laughed and laughed!"
Projections
and a simple set make the show a breeze to produce
House of Tomorrow, one of
our popular flexible length shows, was a great success in Nevada.
The director told us, "The eight performances of House of Tomorrow were
super! Our cast worked very well together--a real ensemble--and
audiences really enjoyed each performance, laughing at all the
humorous parts and empathizing with the more poignant scenes. A
volunteer asked audience members to rate the show as a 5
(Terrific), 4 (very good), 3 (OK), 2 (Fair), and 1 (Should have
stayed home!). Over 80% of the audience members gave it a 5 or
better! Among the most frequent comments were that the characters
and situations were so relatable!"
Many more of our shows which were performed this fall, but these
were special!
