BRANDON DOUGHTRY SLOCUM
Brandon Doughtry Slocum was the founder of The Silver Stage Players, an acting company for seniors that got its start at the John T. O’Connor Senior Center. Her apprentice, JP Schuffman, and she taught an acting workshop at the O’Connor Center, and “found a remarkable group of people who had time, talent, and energy,” she explained. Slocum decided local seniors needed fresh material, so she wrote Frank’s 75th Christmas, Silence, and The Last Day at W.O.R.K., all winners!
