Golden Age Variety’s inspirational live show features over 80 senior performers between the ages of 55 and 83, who are involved in all levels of the production from scenery and costume design, to ticket sales, and most of all performing!

The group began in March, 1995 with its first production at the beautiful Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

The company has now presented six consecutive shows selling close to 5000 tickets, including tour groups from all across southern Ontario and northern New York state. The highlights of the show include numerous dance groups, comedy teams, and soloists. Audiences look forward to fast-paced productions that makes them applaud, laugh, and sing along.

The members of the company also entertain throughout the local community and southern Ontario at retirement communities, long term care facilities, conferences and conventions.

Each Fall, auditions are held to add new and exciting acts to the show and a new theme is chosen.

In the spring of 2007, the show's theme will be "Let's Celebrate! There's A Party Going On!" It’s a fun-filled, feel-good production that celebrates special days from Christmas to St. Paddy's Day; birthdays to anniversaries and all happy times in between! The producer is Liz Pascual, a dynamic and talented performer in her own right. The Artistic Director is Virginia Binko, whose creative ability and dedication helps to make the Golden Age Variety into a huge success!

Once the spring shows are over, the group spends the summer touring to many cities throughout the province of Ontario. In the Fall, they present a smaller, cabaret show.
