GIN AND TONIC
A 10-minute comedy
1 male, 1 female role
This laugh-out-loud comedy offers a delightfully fresh look at the problems of senior dating. Olive is having a bad day, when she is interrupted by Stanley, a brash fellow who seems to have mistaken her office for the nearby Senior Dating Service. Despite her caustic responses, Stanley is positive that she is the one he came to meet. As he tries in a variety of ways to impress her, the verbal duel between this overage Romeo and a very reluctant Juliet becomes increasingly hilarious.
“I still get more comment on John Clifford’s plays than any others we’ve done. They are funny, warm, wise and compassionate. Audiences love them.” Mary Doveton, Managing Director, Lawrence Community Theatre
